Tonsillitis is inflammation of the tonsils caused by bacterial or viral infection. Typical symptoms are sore throat, swollen tonsils, difficulty swallowing, fever, and swollen glands in the neck.
Tonsillitis comes with fever, sore throat, chills, swallowing pain, ear pain and lack of appetite. Fortunately, if immunity is very good, tonsillitis disappears within a few days, without the need for antibiotic treatment. If the symptoms do not disappear after a few days, go to the doctor.
If you do not want to take antibiotics every time your tonsils get inflamed, it’s good to know that there is a remedy that will help you relieve inflamed tonsils.
Pour the juice squeezed from two lemons into a cup and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Stir until the baking soda dissolves.
Wait for a few minutes then add 2 tablespoons of water. Mix again, then gargle the preparation.
Repeat the procedure 4-5 times a day, rinsing your mouth with water after each gargle.
