Sweets, all sorts of sweets, are not good for your body if you consume them excessively. There are many foods and beverages containing sugar which make our silhouettes look bigger from one day to another. But, there is a genius way to reduce sugar appetite.
And the genius ingredient is sesame milk!
Sesame seeds are very beneficial to health, being a rich source of calcium, magnesium, and vitamins A, C, E and B. Although they contain many calories, there is a great trick to overcome this inconvenience, and that is sesame milk.
– 100 g of sesame seeds
– 2 teaspoons of honey
– 1 liter of water
Method of preparation:
Leave the sesame seeds to soak in water for 8-10 hours until the seeds are swollen. Then wash the seeds and place them in the blender, and pour over them a glass with water and the 2 teaspoons of honey. The resulting paste should be homogenous. Then pour the rest of the water and blend the mixture one more time. Honey is used just for the taste, making it an excellent ingredient.
With these quantities you’ll get about 1 liter of sesame milk. It’s best to drink one glass before breakfast. You’ll notice that, shortly after you start this cure, sweets cravings will gradually diminish. In addition, the calcium in the sesame milk is absorbed faster than consuming the seeds as such.
Sesame milk diets provide to your body a precious dose of vitamins and antioxidants with visible effects on nails, hair and skin.
It’s important to know that sesame loses its beneficial properties by roasting, and that the best way to extract all the nutrients from the seeds is to moisten them in water or any other liquid.
