Back pain can be the result of traumas, infections, tumors or inappropriate position. Even though, back pain has a physical cause, in some cases it can also be caused by stress. When you go through a tense period, the muscles contract and the back pain is very high. Insomnia or lack of sleep can also contribute to such a problem.
When you have back pain that lasts for more than 2-3 days, you should see a doctor, but until then, you can try this trick that relieves pain in no more than 60 seconds.
We are talking about a breathing exercise that soothes your pain if you practice it regularly. When your back hurts, stretch or stand in a comfortable position and touch your front teeth with the tip of your tongue. Breathe through your mouth and produce a small whistle.
The next step is to close your mouth and slowly breathe through your nose, counting to 4. Hold your breath as you count up to 7 then expire through your mouth for 8 seconds. Inspire and repeat this process three times and you’ll slowly see how the back pain will be gone.
