Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and wash the burned area with the solution. Then cover the burned area with a clean cotton cloth soaked in apple cider vinegar by replacing it every 2-3 hours.

Aloe Vera

This plant is known for its healing and calming properties (analgesic, astringent). To use it, cut an Aloe Vera leaf in half and extract its gel and apply it over the burned area.
Tip: keep the leaf in the refrigerator for a more cooling sensation.

Lavender Essential Oil

It’s a powerful antiseptic that relieves pain and stimulates healing, reducing scarring.
Pour lavender oil on a piece of gauze and apply the bandage over the affected area. Change this so-called-bandage every few hours.
Lavender has antibiotic, analgesic and natural healing properties.

Potato Slices

Another well-known remedy is potato peels that gives moisture and benefits from antibacterial properties.
Raw potatoes reduce pain and chances to develop blisters, benefiting from anti-irritant and soothing properties. Just cut a potato into the slices and apply them over the burned area. Make sure that the potato juice covers the entire area.
