Digestive disorders such as constipation and diarrhea can occur frequently during pregnancy. For these things you can blame hormones, diet changes, but also stress. Most cases of diarrhea take a few days. This is often due to inappropriate nutrition, viruses or bacteria.
No wonder the majority of pregnant women are confronted with this problem, so it’s good to be cautious because you can avoid this discomfort.
I remember dealing with diarrhea once when I was pregnant, and it was pretty bad. You can’t take medicine and natural remedies are the only savers, but not all natural remedies. I could skip this unpleasant diarrhea episode with carrot soup.
- 1/2 kg of carrots
- 1 liter of water
Boil 1/2 kg of carrots in 150ml of water until they become soft, then add water so you can get 1 liter of carrot soup. Add 3/4 tablespoon of salt and eat one ladle of soup every 30 minutes. Carrots have the ability to combat dehydration as well as supplementing the deficiencies of sodium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur, magnesium and pectin. It also improves intestinal irritation, helps fight bacteria and prevents vomiting.
I got rid of diarrhea and I bet that my baby enjoyed every sip because she’s a carrot fan!
