Acne affects a lot of women, not just teenagers, and unfortunately, it also leaves unpleasant scars, even after you’ve treated acne.
1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera Gel is a vitamin-rich source that will help you to get rid of acne and acne scars. Another great option in using aloe vera gel is that won’t irritate your skin. Aloe Vera is a natural moisturizer, and the results will appear immediately. For guaranteed success, take an aloe vera leaf, extract its gel and apply it on your face. Or just rub gently your face with the leaf cut in half.
2. Baking soda
Baking soda has many uses, and it’s extremely effective in getting rid of acne scars. Baking soda has sodium crystals, which exfoliates the skin in a delicate manner when you use it for peeling the face. Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda with water to form a paste, then massage on the area affected by acne scars. Once applied, you must leave the mixture to act at least for 2 minutes. After a few minutes, wash your face and apply a moisturizing cream with jojoba seed extract, coconut or olive oil.
3. Lemon juice
Lemon juice is a natural antioxidant that can be used for any skin problem. The procedure is very simple. Squeeze a lemon into a bowl (if you have more sensitive skin, mix it with water). Soak a cotton pad in the juice and dab gently your skin surface then let it dry completely. Rinse the face with cold water and then apply a moisturizing cream.
It should be noted that lemon juice will make your skin more sensitive to U.V. rays, so it is preferable not to use it before sun exposure. Apply this remedy in the evening before bedtime.
4. Potato juice
Potato is still a vegetable that does wonders. Contains vitamins, minerals and helps heal the skin. Use the juice to remove scars left by acne by applying potato slices over the affected areas. For best results, leave the potato juice on the face for 50 minutes and then rinse with warm water. You can do this once a day.
